Featuring a stacked lineup, including features from Ice-T, Pusha T, Kanye West, Twista, Cam'ron, Big Sean and more, the album (whose title got the sign-off from Nas )is executive produced by Grammy-winning producer Hit-Boy and co-executive produced by Kanye West. Game has talked a lot about his connection with Hit-Boy, previously saying that the pair created nine songs in just three days. He's also said that he had several samples to clear for the project, including seven from Jay-Z. This is Game's 10th studio album, and his first since 2019’s Born 2 Rap.
Ahead of its release, Game insisted it's the album of the year. “I know my album gone be the best album of 2022, ’cause the energy feels like I just signed my deal,” he wrote in a post on Instagram. “You’ve never heard me rap like this, I promise you.”
In explaining its delay, the Compton rapper previously shared his thought-process while creating the album in an IG post.
"What I can guarantee you is that I personally put my heart & soul into this album from beginning to the end & anyone who’s come by my studio or heard this album will tell you that it is everything you expected it to be," he wrote on Instagram. "Everyone also wanted me to not put 30 songs on my album which again held us up due to the amount of music I’m pushing out but I felt & always feel my fans deserve more. This date gives me time to properly set up, get visually prepared & present to you another classic. I appreciate all of you for being patient throughout this process with me & I can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve done."
