The album is due out on Aug. 12, and is entirely produced by Hit-Boy, who also serves as co-executive producer along with Kanye West, Wack 100, and a few others. Game insists his connection with the Grammy-winning producer, who's currently on a career-defining winning streak with Nas, will be epic. He said that the pair created nine songs in just three days and that he's had several samples to clear for the project, including seven from Jay-Z. The album has been pushed back a few times, and Game explained the hold-up to fans last week.
"My apologies for the delay but fans sometimes don’t understand how hard it is behind the scenes trying to clear samples on over 30 records & to get publishing splits, agreements, mixes approved, featured artists agreements & a million other things done in order to have a clean, flawless album put together & released," he said. What I can guarantee you is that I personally put my heart & soul into this album from beginning to the end & anyone who’s come by my studio or heard this album will tell you that it is everything you expected it to be."
