Snoop Dogg has officially convinced Eminem to join the Metaverse. Snoop's son, Cordell Broadus, shared a video on Twitter of his father talking to Em about the pros of the move, as Eminem agrees that it's a "crazy-ass idea."

Cordell, who also goes by the name Champ Medici, and is also the founder of the crypto fund Welcome to the Block, an early-stage investment fund targeted at all things Web3 and on the Blockchain, goes on to explain how he pretty much alley-hooped the entire thing when he spoke with music executive Paul Rosenberg.

"I saw Paul Rosenberg eating dinner at the Barclays November 3rd 2021 and I didn’t hesitate to tell him to bring Em 2 this space, he wasn’t convinced / so I had my client @SnoopDogg call Em November 21st to convince him," he captioned the video of Snoop calling Em. He continued, “I'm not bragging or making this about me it’s just a beautiful thing to see how time works and ideas are always on our side. Any go-getters out there that may have to go through a journey of people fully not understanding ur vision…have faith & be patient.”

Beyond their adventures with the Metaverse, Snoop and Eminem recently collaborated on a new single, "From the D 2 the LBC," which was accompanied by a colorful animated video. Both rappers have also dipped into the NFT space. Em purchased an NFT from OpenSea's NFT marketplace and became a member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, while Snoop was announced a big-time investor in Moonpay, who has also teamed up with the rapper's recently acquired Death Row Records to create an NFT marketplace.
