Rick Ross and Richie Evans have linked up for the new video "Can't Knock the Hustle." The track is featured on Richie's Highly Favored EP, which is available now.
The Phoenix rapper's six-track EP features production from The Olympicks, Othello Beats, Tariq & Paul Cabbin, TrackPros, and Kof, while rappers including Jay Rock and Eastside K-Boy show up for assists.
“I’m excited for this first release under my own imprint The Evans Administration,” Evans said in a press release. “I’ve learned so much working closely with entrepreneurs like The Game and Rick Ross. One of the most meaningful songs on the project is “Can’t Knock The Hustle.” While recording that song I felt a connection to Jay-Z back when he was hustling and building his own brand and legacy by any means necessary. I want that American Dream and am inspired by the hard work ethic, strong character and hustlers mentality.”
As for Rick Ross, he's set to perform at the much-anticipated Rock The Bells cruise, which sets said this November in celebration of the 50th anniversary of HIp-Hop.
