Ceelo Green of Atlanta's Goodie Mob has announced that the quartet is calling it quits. "We are living in an amazing time and an ironic one as well,"he posted to social media. "Our brothers Outkast have just been officially inducted into the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame where they belong.

But I also have a bittersweet announcement to make, this is Goodiemob ‘s 30th year anniversary if you didn’t know, yet I am also going to announce for the first time this will be our farewell. The fans know that we’ve gone through a great deal together so ,for no reasons in particular let’s just call it 'natural causes' and we all agree that it’s time. We are about to work on a farewell album and tour God willing."

After front man Ceelo Green's left to pursue a solo career, T-Mo, Big Gipp, and Khujo One Monkey Dont Stop No Show in 2004, The original lineup released Age Against the Machine in 2013, and Survival Kit in 2020.
