According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Nate Dogg's estate has settled with his widow and nine children for $2.7 million, bringing closure to a 12 year legal battle. The monies will be evenly distributed amongst his widow LaToya Calvin, and his nine children, originally thought to be six.

The probate judge revealed that Nate is the father of three additional children, which has affected the dynamics of the inheritance. The administrator of the estate has settled a $144,000 IRS bill and other outstanding debts, which relieves the survivors of any further financial debts.

Nate Dogg passed away in 2011 without a will, which caused complications in distributing assets among his children from different relationships. LaToya Calvin, Nate’s wife at the time of his death, nominated herself as the estate executor, causing a prolonged court battle with his children.

Dubbed The King of Hooks, Nate Dogg contributed to several classic Hip-Hop songs between 1992 and 2007. Nate got his start with Snoop Dogg and Warren G in a group called 213, and was featured on Warren G's breakout hit "Regulate". Nate has worked with Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Eminem, Ludacris, Mos Def, Fabolous, and a host of others.
