Beyond the new video, Meth has been occupied on the acting front. He's up for two NAACP Awards, one for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for On the Come Up (directed by Sanaa Lathan and featuring music from Rapsody) and the other for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work on Power Book II: Ghost.
He's also set to star in an upcoming action film. “I’m in a movie with Kerry Washington and Omar Sy and Da’Vine Joy," he recently told Essence. "She’s dope. She’s fire. It’s tentatively titledShadowforce, done by the people that did Smoking Aces, and Kerry’s kicking ass, Omar’s kicking ass, Da’Vine is kicking my ass. It’s dope.”
