Five new episodes of season five of Rock The Bells' Salute The Sample are now available to view. In the new episodes LL COOL J, Greg Nice, and DJ Z-Trip break down classics by David Bowie, Electro pioneer Hashim, Isaac Hayes, The Emotions, The Trammps, and David Bowie.

The tracks dissected in the latest episodes were used in hits by MF DOOM, Big Daddy Kane, 50 Cent, Tech Nine, and The Notorious B.I.G.

Previous episodes from season five dissect Seals & Croft's 1976 song "Sweet Green Fields" which was used for Busta Rhymes' 1997 hit, "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See". Others examine hits used by A Tribe Called Quest, Dr. Dre, and Public Enemy.
