Brand Nubian's Lord Jamar has released the remix to his "Elephant" single, and he's enlisted Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5's Rahiem. The song chronicles the ongoing discussions about Hip-Hops origins. This extension of Jamar's original release which originally dropped last month, finds Rahiem, a member of two foundation era crews - The Funky 4, and Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5 give a mini History lesson of the embryonic days of the culture.

Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5 are the most decorated of the first generation MC crews, and are responsible for many firsts in Hip-Hop. They are the first Rap act inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame (by Jay-Z, 2007), and they are also members of the Grammy Hall of Fame. Their song, The Message is credited as the first socially conscious Rap song, and it is the first Rap song to be induced in the Library of Congress archives, along with the writings of Edison and other important cultural moments and milestones.
