Rock The Bells talked with Rahiem about the PSA, and his participation. "I actually had to audition, and my voice was selected out of 10 other voices, but what helped me nail it were the visuals," he shared. "I watched the video while I recorded my audition and it almost choked me up because it brought back so many great childhood memories! So I felt like the gig was mine before they told me I had it because I lived what they were depicting, so it was a tremendous honor to be the voice of the ghosts of childhood's past".
The PSA follows young dancers in The Bronx, and the influence of martial arts movies on the culture. The dancers move from the streets, to clubs and talent contests as the dance starts to make national headlines. "The New Rap Language" by Spoonie Gee & The Treacherous Three, and "Rockin' It" by The Fearless Four are featured in the piece which Grandmaster Caz of The Cold Crush Brothers also makes an appearance in.
