Kendrick Lamar's 2024 "surprise" album, 'GNX' has re-entered the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart following his viral Super Bowl halftime performance. Additionally his 2017 chart topper, Damn has returned to the top 10, as well as 2012's good kid,m.A.A.d city. The 2025 Super Bowl halftime performance, which was previously only available to stream and purchase as a digital download album, is now available in physical format.

Lamar's Super Bowl halftime performance was a star studded event that included appearances from Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams, and SZA. Lamar ran through a 13 minute set of some of his biggest hits including "Squabble Up", "Humble", "DNA", "Luther","Man At The Garden", and the ever popular Drake Diss, "Not Like Us".

Kendrick's performance still has social media deciphering the imagery and symbolism in the 10-song show. Samuel L Jackson as Uncle Sam, Serena Williams resurrecting her crip walk, his dancers assuming the shape of an American flag, and the Playstation/Squid Games/prison yard stage set are all subjects of internet memes and discussions.
