Rock The Bells Radio personality and Have A Nice Day host Roxanne Shante appeared on the latest episode of The Breakfast Club where she discussed her relationship with LL COOL J and Rock The Bells. When asked about her early association with Rock The Bells, Shante revealed that she is a minority owner in LL's multimedia company, and that he saw her potential in radio immediately.

"The way this whole thing came about with Have A Nice Day was that I was doing an interview about the movie (Netflix's 2017, Roxanne, Roxanne) with LL," she explained. "We were sitting there talking and laughing, and he said that I needed to be doing [radio], and that he was about to start a station. He said that he was going to make me an owner so that I can benefit from it."

Shante says that the ownership is an incentive to work harder, but she was going to give her best regardless. "I'm always gonna put my best foot forward, he's my brother and I trust him. The checks on the back end are a nice incentive," she explained. She continued, "Being an owner, and having others that are owners is just incredible, because it makes you say 'look what we've built.'"
