LL COOL J's 'Murdergram Deux' Featuring Eminem Reaches Gold Status In The U.S.

LL COOL J's "Murdergram Deux" featuring Eminem from his critically acclaimed album, THE FORCE is eligible for Gold certification after reaching the 500,000 mark. "Murdergram Deux", the fourth single from THE FORCE was released on August 30 of last year and is the most streamed song from the project. "It's an important accomplishment, because it shows that anything is possible," LL told Rock The Bells. He continued, "It's proof that just because music isn't coming from the same three or four artists, it can still its audience."

"Murdergram Deux" was nominated for Outstanding Hip-Hop/Rap Song for the 56th NAACP Awards earlier this year. In a SiriusXM listening session, LL spoke on the recording process for the song. "When Q-Tip made the beat, I was like 'Yo me and Em would be crazy on this.' I sent him the beat, and once he heard the beat, me and Em went to Dr. Dre's studio."

THE FORCE, is a 14 song project entirely produced by Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, with features from Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Saweetie, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Eminem, and Gambian singer Sona Jobarteh.THE FORCEĀ is LL's 14th studio album, and his first in more than a decade.
