Jermaine Dupri Says New Song With Ashanti, Nelly, And Juicy J Is Coming

Jermaine Dupri says a new song featuring Ashanti, Nelly, and Juicy J is on the way.

JD made the claim on Instagram after he posted a clip of them hanging out the studio, playfully arguing about the proper way to double dutch. Ashanti was holding the phone, smiling in the clip as she captured the debate. “We’re debating how fast you’re supposed to go double dutch," the clip said. In the caption, JD announced the new track. "Although we talking bout double Dutch, this a NEW RECORD ALERT !!” he wrote. “I got @nelly @ashanti & @juicyj on the way !!”

In a recent interview with Rock The Bells, JD spoke about the importance of respecting music, especially in today's times.

“It's a lack of information and people’s cockiness overriding people actually being cold and taught how to actually make music,” he said. “The one thing I hate about the music industry is that people think that the music industry is so easy and you can just get in it and go. It’s not. No sport is like that. I feel like people gotta respect music a little bit more.”
