The late Freaky Tah of The Lost Boyz will soon be honored with a street renaming according to Queens Chronicle. Tah's son Kahlil Emery made the plea for the renaming on 134 Ave. and Guy R. Brewer Blvd in Rochdale. “He was more than just an artist,” said Kahlil. "He was a beacon of hope to the South Jamaica community and hip-hop enthusiasts worldwide. His life and legacy are testaments to the enduring impact one can have on the entire community.”

“My father’s generosity knew no bounds,” he said further. “He made personal investments to those around him and incentivized young kids to go to school by taking them on trips on Jamaica Avenue, by buying them sneakers or taking care of their family when they fell on hard times.”

Longtime community activist Olivia Coleman Banks who dedicated her life to public service throughout Queens will share in the street co-naming. “My mother lived and died for social action,” said Sonya Banks, Coleman's daughter.

The Lost Boyz rose to popularity following the release of their 1995 debut, Legal Drug Money. That album produced the hits "Jeeps,Lex Coups, Bimaz, Benz", "Music Makes Me High", and "Renee".
