In an Apple Music sponsored teaser for his upcoming Super Bowl Halftime performance, Kendrick Lamar revealed that his tour mate SZA will appear as a special guest. In the teaser Lamar is engaged in a telephone conversation where he reveals that he's been thinking about a special guest, as an image of SZA appears on screen.

The halftime concert will be presented by Apple Music, and Jay-Z's Roc Nation will executive produce along with Jesse Collins. The show airs February 9, live from New Orleans. Super Bowl LIX marks Lamar's second time performing at the Super Bowl Halftime, as he performed in 2022 alongside Dr. Dre,Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, 50 Cent, and Eminem.
