Ice Cube recently declared that he wasn't part of "the club" in a video posted to his social media regarding the NBA and their alleged sabotage of his Big3 league.

"Some of you may not have realized that I'm not part of the club, and some of you listening right now aren't part of the club either," he said. "What I've realised with the club is what makes them so mad is when you don't wanna be a part of the club."

Cube explained that the "club" consists of "the gatekeepers that we gotta deal with." Cube goes on to say that the NBA has been has been sabotaging his efforts with his Big3 basketball league ever since his Contract with Black America.

"I don't care about working with the NBA," he says. "But I want them to stop working against us. I'm going on a 'Fuck the gatekeepers podcast tour.'"

In a recent interview with Joe Rogan Ice Cube doubled down on his claims.

The important thing is for me to go on these platforms and say what I think. I'm going to everybody. It's gonna be a crazy summer.

"We are not trying to compete in any way shape or form with the NBA," Ice Cube told Joe Rogan. "We are very complimentary, so I don't understand why they would do some of what they are doing behind the scenes. Encouraging people to not sponsor us and networks not to play us. With those things, we've been able to survive, but at a certain point it's redundant and ridiculous and we have to fight back in some way shape or form."
