MC Eiht is fresh off the release of his latest album, Poverty Book: Lessons 2, a 26-track project with appearances from Mitchy Slick, Planet Asia, Rass Kass, E-40, DJ Premier, Dave East, Glasses Malone, and more. Suga Free also recently dropped new music, a collaborative album with Kokane, properly titled SugaKane.
“People always want to be shocked,” Suga Free recently explained to the L.A. Times about the love he's been getting lately. “I love being the villain, the one who talks about what people really think, the stuff that they want to sweep under the rug. We all have a job to do, a higher purpose to serve. You need everyone from a Kirk Franklin all the way on down to Suga Free.”
The G Funk Festival takes place on May 6 at The Globe Theatre in L.A. Check here for details.
