Freddie Gibbs is back with a new video "Zipper Bags."
The video, directed by Ben “Lambo” Lambert, Harley Astorga, and Freddie Gibbs, is another cinematic effort from the rapper, complete with grainy shots of him in a motel after a dispute with a female worker.
"I got an Eastside ho / Trapping out a house with some Eastside blow,” he rhymes outside of the motel before the shot cuts to him inside of the room with a black duffle bag. “Smokers coming back for at least five more / Kill an opp, then it’s back to the East I go."
The song, produced by KAYTRANADA is from Freddie’s most recent effort, $oul $old $eparately. The album features Big Sean, Hit-Boy, Rick Ross, Pusha T, Scarface, Anderson.Paak, Raekwon, ScHoolboy Q, and more.
Freddie has recently said that he has four new projects in the works following his release last year. “Alchemist and Madlib ain’t goin’ nowhere, so keep that in mind," he told XXL earlier this year. "And me and Boi-1da in the studio now real, real, real heavy... I’m making the best music of my life, so it’s no reason to stop. And I’m the king of R&B, so I gotta do that album as well.”
