In the new video fro "Rabbit Vision" a standout on Freddie Gibbs' latest album $oul $old $eparately, Gibbs connects with a few of his rap peers as he details his decade-plus long journey in the music business.
Over J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League's signature mid-tempo production, Gibbs details his experiences, which are highlighted by VHS-style grainy video clips. The video, directed by Gibbs, Harley Astoria and Ben “Lambo” Lambert includes clips featuring Jeezy, Big Sean, Kaytranada, and DJ Paul. The Jeezy feature in particular is notable since on the song, Freddie addresses their beef that went on for years following his departure from Jeezy's CTE label back in 2012. Freddie admits they haven't spoke in years and says he was "immature."
“Me and Jeezy still ain’t spoke in years, but I got love for him/ Could’ve talked it out, but I spoke out, I let it get to me/ Showed me I could be a fuckin’ boss, best thing he did for me/ I needed to grow, too immature, it’s shit I needed to know,” he raps.
