Dave Chappelle's new Netflix special is set to arrive on Dec. 31.

The yet-to-be-titled special was announced with a short teaser that features his "C" logo lit up with neon lighting. In the clip, Morgan Freeman declares, "He's back, folks!" The upcoming special will be Chappelle's sixth Netflix comedy special in six years. Previous releases include The Age of Spin, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Equanimity and The Bird Revelation in 2017, Stick & Stones in 2019 and The Close rin 2021.

Chappelle was recently nominated for his sixth Grammy in the Best Comedy Album category for What’s in a Name? which centered on a 2022 speech he gave at a naming ceremony at Washington D.C.’s Duke Ellington School of the Arts, his alma mater. He previously won Grammys for The Closer (2023), Sticks & Stones (2019), Equanimity & The Bird Revelation (2018) and The Age of Spin & Deep in the Heart of Texas (2017).
