Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle Extend Co-Headlining Tour Dates

Comedians Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle have extended the dates for their co-headlining tour.

Previously, their short tour kicked off in December with five dates throughout the west coast. They also toured the U.K. last September. The tour extension begins in January and includes a five-date engagement which starts in Oklahoma City on January 20 followed by shows in St. Louis on January 22, Memphis on January 23, and Birmingham on January 25. The tour closes in North Charleston on January 27.

The tour follows Chappelle hitting another milestone. The popular comedian is up for a Grammy — again. He's nominated in the comedy album category for the album version of his Netflix special, The Closer. Chappelle also won in 2020 (“Sticks & Stones”), 2019 (“Equanimity & The Bird Revelation”), and in 2018 (“The Age of Spin & Deep in the Heart of Texas”). In 2021, he was nominated in the best spoken word category for the album “8:46" about the killing of George Floyd.

Meanwhile, Rock is about to make Netflix history, becoming the first artist to perform live on the streaming platform. The comedy special will air this year, and will capitalize on Netflix's comedy showcase, Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
