In a recent interview with the Kreative Kontrol Podcast, Ad Rock of the Beastie Boys talked about an unreleased album by the trio.

"We actually have a whole full album. I'm not even kidding," he said when asked about the status of Part One, the accompaniment to 2011's Hot Sauce Committee Part Two. "I can't disclose, but I can tell you, with all honesty, there is a whole other album", he revealed, but he did not confirm whether it was indeed Part One. He also revealed that there is other unreleased Beastie Boys music in the vaults. "We have a bunch of rap songs also that never came out, but the bulk of it is stoner jams", he said. "I don't know if the world really needs that right now, but maybe they want it I don't know. They're going to get it, at some point, because I'm going to put it out."

Elsewhere in the interview, Ad Rock confirmed that he still actively makes music. "I make music on my computer every day," he said, but didn't reveal whether he plans on releasing it.

In other Beastie Boys news, the group are featured on the soundtrack to Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy 3. Their classic "No Sleep Til Brooklyn" will appear on the soundtrack which features many other classics including Radiohead's "Creep" and Bruce Springsteen's “Badlands" among others.
