If you were unaware, Snoop Dogg's Broadus Foods also includes Mama Snoop Breakfast Foods. The crop of breakfast products includes syrup, oatmeal, pancake mix, grits, and honey almond granola. Snoop showcased the products on Instagram.
“There was a void for our culture when they took ‘Aunt Jemima’ off the shelves," he said. "We’re replacing it with ‘Momma Snoop’ pancake mix, syrup, grits and oatmeal adding diversity into the grocery stores industry and creating opportunities for minority-owned food products and brands.”
Master P serves as CEO of the company, which he calls empowering. “Our mission is to build economic empowerment and generational wealth," he said. "The more we make, the more we give.“
Snoop has previously introduced several products from his Broadus Foods, including the gluten-free Snoop Loopz. The company has paired with various charitable organizations to donate a portion of all items purchased, including Door of Hope, a Christian non-profit that aids homeless families. Snoop tapped into the food game a while ago, even releasing a cookbook with a forward by Martha Stewart, From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen. He's also had his own line of wine with 19 Crimes, a plant-based donut sandwich with Dunkin', and he was an early investor in Beyond Meat.
