"Coolie High" was also released ahead of the album, and helped to build anticipation for a full length project. The slow tempo and Janet Jackson sample gave us a further glimpse into the abstract vocabulary and unorthodox flow of Camp Lo.
The full album, with its Ernie Barnes "Good Times" inspired artwork was extremely well received, and the videos for "Coolie High", "Luchini", and "Black Nostaljack" received heavy airplay on Rap, City, Yo! MTV Raps and and other popular rap video programs. "Black Nostaljack", the album's third single contained a Curtis Mayfield sample and a video that served as a throwback and dedication to televisions Good Times, complete with appearances from Bern Nadette Stanis and Jimmy Walker (Thelma and J.J. respectively).
