Rick Ross is launching a new weed strain, Collins Ave, named for his old Miami neighborhood. Ross partnered with cannabis company High Tolerance for the strain, which will debut on June 1.
"High Tolerance is the best flower for all the ones who like to blow that good gas,” the rapper/CEO said “This is the best flower in the world … this is why I decided to team up with High Tolerance. They have the best flower on the streets. Shout out to Manny, the biggest.”
In 2020, Ross teamed with Berner's cannabis brand Cookies for three specially curated strains — Collins Ave, Pink Rozay and Lemon Pepper.
“I want to be a force within the cannabis industry and bring a superior quality product to the masses, particularly my people in the South,” he said at the time. “I’m honored to be in partnership with Berner and Cookies, who, in my opinion, are the best in the business. I love the product and truly stand behind it. Watch what we do!”
He also launched a hemp company in 2021 focused on helping people reap the benefits of the plant.
