On Wednesday (8/10) DJ Premier announced on his IG that the official video for "Remy Rap" will drop at 10am EST on Thursday (8/11).

"Remy Rap" is featured on Premier's recently released project Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack. The project, released in conjunction with Mass Appeal, features Run The Jewels and Joey Bad A$$ as well as collaborations between Slick Rick and Lil Wayne.

“It’s an honor to kick off this iconic Hip-Hop 50 music program,” DJ Premier shared. “Hip-Hop continues to inspire fans across the globe and it’s incredible to think of what the next 50 years will bring.”

The project was the first installment in Mass Appeal'sThe Soundtrack Series, which celebrates 50 years of Hip-Hop, and will include a total of 10 EPs curated by Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The-Dream, Mike Will Made-It, No I.D., Hit-Boy, and others. Premier also released a new single last week with Benny The Butcher titled "Times Is Rough."

DJ Premier has already displayed his Griselda ties, previously contributing tracks to Westside Gunn’s Pray For Paris and Conway The Machine’s From King to a God. Check out the snippet for the "Remy Rap" video above.
