Redman recently reconnected with another longtime friend, Method Man on his single, “Live From the Meth Lab,” also featuring KRS-One and JoJo Pelligrino. The same month, he also announced that he's teamed up with celebrity interview show The Dab Roast as their executive producer and director of programming for season two.
In a recent interview with Talib Kweli on his People's Party podcast, he talked about how his new career endeavors, music, and how he's managed to not take himself too seriously in an industry that's all about appearances.
“It’s a pain in the f-cking balls trying to be on-point and look good," he said, adding that he also doesn't feel the need to keep security around him when he's out and about. “I would not trade how I move—just being able to get up with my kids and just go to the mall with no security.”
