Pete Rock & Common, Andre 3000, Run-DMC, And Skillz Amongst 2025 Grammy Nominees

Beyonce continues her domination of the Grammy's, leading with 11 nominations across all four Country categories (Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance, Song of The Year, Best Country Duo/Performance). Her 99 nominations have broken her tie with husband Jay-Z who now has 89.

Hip-Hop is representing a the Grammy's as well with Common & Pete Rock's "When The Sun Shines Again" nominated for Best Rap Performance against Kendrick Lamar ("Not Like Us"), GloRilla ("Yeah Glo"), Eminem ("Houdini"),Cardi B ("Enough"), Doechi (Nissan Altima), and Furture and Metro Boomin' ("Like That").

Run-DMC's Peacock produced 3 part documentary, Kings From Queens has been nominated for Best Music Film. Director Kirk Fraser and producer William H. Masterson III will take home trophy's along with Run and DMC if the film wins. Andre 3000's New Blue Sun has been nominated in three categories: Best Alternative Jazz Album, Best Instrumental Composition, and Album of The Year. Virginia MC Skillz has been nominated for Best Spoken Word Album for The Seven Number Ones.
