Nas and Wu-Tang Clan to Continue 'NY State of Mind' Co-Headlining Tour

Last year, Wu-Tang Clan and Nas embarked on a successful joint tour, NY State of Mind, and now they're set to embark on a new set of dates.

The latest trek will kick off in May with shows in New Zealand and Australia, followed by a European tour in June. The show will then return for a new North American leg, which will kick off on Sept. 20 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and wrap on Oct. 22 at the Yaamava Theatre in Highland, California.

Back in October 2022, Wu-Tang Clan and Nas dropped a mini-doc showcasing highlights, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage from the tour which featured special guest, Busta Rhymes. The seven-minute documentary featured interviews with Raekwon, Nas, and more, detailing exactly what the phrase "New York state of mind," means.

"New York State of mind is like an expression for New Yorkers," Raekwon explained. "We've been through so much. We live in a fast city. Our struggle had a lot to do with molding us. A lot of time we were listening to the music that was coming from the neighborhoods that we came from — which were the 5 boroughs. That became literature in the street and the next thing you know it got incorporated into the music. Then it transcended to other cities."

Tickets for the North American shows will go on sale on March 3 at 9 a.m. local time. A presale for American Express cardholders for select shows will kick off on Feb. 28, while additional pre-sales will be held throughout the week.
