The final season of the hit Hulu series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga is set to premiere next month. The show started in 2019 and is based on RZA's 2009 book, The Tao of Wu. This fourth season will focus on how the individual members of the legendary group cemented their legacies following the success of their classic debut, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

“This season deals with various elements of hip-hop culture through the eyes of the Wu-Tang Clan and its surrounding family,” RZA told Rolling Stone. “We explore the music, the fashion, the entrepreneurial elements, and that pioneering spirit that the hip-hop art form generates. We also explore the imagination and inspiration that the music invoked into the youth. We do this all while navigating the complex relationships that success spawns.”

He added that the series has been an extension of his vision for the groundbreaking collective.

“Being a founder and abbot of the Wu I’m always optimistic about our legacy,” RZA said. “We set out on A journey in 1993 with Enter the 36 Chambers and that journey continues 30 years later and we created 30 episodes of tv/cinema to expound upon our art, music, life joys and life struggles.”

Wu-Tang: An American Sagawill premiere on Feb. 15, complete with three new episodes. After the extended premiere, episodes will drop weekly, with a series finale on April 5.
