LeBron James has made sports history, becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer. James took the title from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who had held the spot for three decades.

James passed Jabbar’s career total of 38,387 points during a home game last night (Feb. 7), when the L.A. Lakers played the Oklahoma City Thunder. When he made history, scoring his 36th point of the night on a step-back jumper, everyone from Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Rihanna rejoiced. All three music stars appeared in a compilation video from the NBA, congratulating him on the historic moment.

“From the time you went to the league when you had the doubters and the naysayers and people that think you wouldn’t take it this far you proved ’em wrong, dawg.” Upcoming Super Bowl LVII halftime performer Rihanna added, “I am so grateful to witness this moment in history… my favorite thing about being a LeBron James fan is just watching you prove yourself over and over again against all odds and all doubt. Thank you for repping for all of us. Keep striving for greatness always, and congratulations King James.”

Wearing a Lakers' jersey, Snoop offered, “It’s always fun watching a Laker get it done.” Drake's congrats was comical. “To honor that I had to come back to the place that it all started…" he said, from what was supposedly a small court in James' hometown, Akron, Ohio. "Every journey has its beginning,” he said as the green screen dropped behind him, revealing that he was actually in a club in Miami.

Lil Wayne, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Bruno Mars, also offered their congrats to James on his historic night.
