While there is certainly no guarantee that Bronny James will become a legendary player like his father, LeBron James, he is forging a path similar to him after signing an NIL deal with Beats by Dre — mirroring the fact that LeBron was the first athlete signed to the brand back in 2008.

The two star in a new commercial for the brand's Fit Pro and Studio Buds earphones called "The Chosen One vs. The Chosen Son."

Bronny James currently plays at Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth and is coming off a 31 point game where he shot 84 percent from the field. He will be eligible for the 2024 NBA draft.

Dr. Dre is no stranger to helping catapult people's careers. According to recent data pertaining to the Super Bowl halftime show and streaming bumps, Snoop Dogg posted the biggest gains, notching a 143% increase — from 12.427 million streams the week prior to 30.222 million the week the game aired. Following closely in second was Mary B. Blige, who scored a 132% gain (14.395 million to 33.386 million). Dr. Dre’s streams increased 108% (22.658 million to 42.136 million), Eminem rose 39% (70.330 million to 97.438 million) and Kendrick Lamar saw a 35% boost (44.440 million to 60.138 million).
