AllHipHop reports that Krayzie Bone is fighting for his life in an L.A. area hospital.

According to insiders, the legendary member of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony checked himself into a Los Angeles area hospital on Friday (September 22) after he started coughing up large amounts of blood. Krayzie, 50, lives with sarcoidosis, a condition where the immune system responds excessively, leading to the development of “granulomas,” clusters of inflamed cells, in one or more organs of the body. He's reportedly currently on a breathing machine and sedated.

Bizzy Bone shared a message on Instagram Stories, “Pray 4 Kray" before adding, “Can’t sleep. Sometimes you just gotta pray.” LeBron James was among the celebrities who sent well wishes Krayzie's way. "Prayers to Krayzie man!!!!" James hails from Akron, OH and has long expressed his love for the legendary Cleveland Hip-Hop group.

DJ Jazzy Jeff, who was recently on LL COOL J's F.O.R.C.E. Tour where Bone Thugs-N-Harmony made several appearances wrote, "Man…send prayers out family..."

In an exclusive interview with Rock The Bells earlier this year, Krayzie expressed his gratitude that Bone was being recognized for their major impact on Hip-Hop, particularly with their street naming in Cleveland.

“Just to see all these things taking place is incredible,” Krayzie says. “Now is the time in our career where we’ve started to sit back and really take everything we've done in and recognize the foundation we've laid down. Other people are starting to recognize who did what and what we really did in this Hip-Hop industry."
