Kendrick Lamar swept the 2025 Grammy's with five wins for his ever popular track "They Not Like Us". Lamar took home trophies for Song of The Year, Record of The Year, Best Rap Song, Best rap Performance, and Best Music Video. The wins come on the heels of the heels of last years surprise album GNX, which continues its record breaking ascent.

Kendrick's wins also come on the eve of his much talked about upcoming Superbowl Half Time performance. Ab-Soul, Kendrick's Black Hippy counterpart sparked rumors of a possible guest appearance last week with a cryptic social media post. The post read "Listen I have never gotten a Ft from Free. Smfh. I just shed a tear. Dead Homies. Super Bowl LIX. History!!!" That post which mentioned Lamar's manager Dave Free drew responses from his followers who are pondering whether a Black Hippy reunion is upon us.

The halftime concert will be presented by Apple Music, and Jay-Z's Roc Nation will executive produce along with Jesse Collins. The show airs February 9, live from New Orleans. Super Bowl LIX marks Lamar's second time performing at the Super Bowl Halftime, as he performed in 2022 alongside Dr. Dre,Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, 50 Cent, and Eminem.
