Andre 3000 announced earlier today (2/1) that he won't be in attendance at Sunday's Grammy Ceremony where he's nominated for Album Of The Year for New Blue Sun, his solo flute project. "Unfortunately I'm not able to attend the Grammy's tomorrow, but some of the New Blue Sun musicians, friends, and supporters will be in attendance," he said in a cryptic post.

"Our album was conceived and recorded in Los Angeles with spirit of openness and creative collaboration. We hope that the rebound of Los Angeles is swift and renewing. Congrats to all the musicians and collaborators being acknowledged. Keep playing.”

In other Andre 3000 news, Outkast recently earned their first Diamond certification. Diamond certification denotes 10 million or more sales, and the duo has earned the certification for "Hey Ya!". "Hey Ya!" is from 2003's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, which went Diamond in just over a year. Other Hip-Hop artists who have achieved Diamond status include Juicy J, 2Pac, Drake, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Eminem, The Beastie Boys, Cardi B and 50 Cent.
