Jay-Z and Jeff Bezos Interested in Buying Washington Commanders?

Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos is reportedly looking to buy The Washington Commanders, possibly in collaboration with Jay-Z, according to reports. Bezos owns a home in D.C. and has been interested in buying a team for a while, per reports.
Details about the potential acquisition, however, are scarce.

In other Jay-Z mogul news, he now tops the list of Hip-Hop's wealthiest artists. According to a list compiled by Forbes' Zack O'Malley Greenburg, Jay has reclaimed the top spot on the list with a personal record of $1.5 billion. His diverse empire is responsible for his fortune— he has investments in robot pizza companies, records, real estate, spirits and more. Specifically, he has his Armand de Brignac champagne and Roc Nation entertainment company, and stakes in startups like Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie line.

Last week, Forbes' Zack O'Malley Greenburg hinted that buying an NFL team was potentially in the works for Jay. “Reports of an impending sale of his half of D’Ussé cognac, especially in the wake of Jay-Z’s other recent cash-outs, make me wonder if he’s not gearing up for a major acquisition. NFL team, anyone?” Greenburg wrote.
