An EP for Donald Glover's new Amazon Prime series, Swarm, just dropped.
The six-track effort is executive produced by Glover, who also co-wrote the song "Something Like That” and appears on the track "Sticky." The music is credited to the show's fictional pop star Ni'jah, though they were actually primarily written by singer/songwriter Kirby.
Glover teamed with Atlanta and Watchmen writer and producer Janine Nabers for the series. Nabers is also Swarm's showrunner while Glover directed the first episode. The series follows a fan (played by Dominque Fishback who also serves as a producer on the show) who is obsessed with a pop star who's very similar to Beyoncé. Fishback will star alongside Damson Idris and Chloe Bailey (who's signed to Beyonce's Parkwood Entertainment).
Swarm premieres on Prime today. Check out the EP here.
