Super producers Hit-Boy and The Alchemist dropped their new video "Slipping Into Darkness."

In a cool twist, the track finds swapping beats and bars — Hit-Boy produces the top half of the laid-back track, while Alchemist rhymes, while the back half finds Hit-Boy picking up the mic to rhyme over Alchemist's piano-heavy beat. The video, directed by THIRDEYERAZ opens with the two acclaimed producers talking out the song's creative concept.

It's impressive the two acclaimed beatmakers found time to deliver the song, Alchemist has been busy readying his joint project with Cali rhymer Larry June, which is due out at the end of March. Hit-Boy just dropped a collaborative project with Musiq Soulchild last week, following up his stellar four-album run with Nas.

In an interview with Too Short for his ROCK THE BELLS show, Don't Stop Rappin, Hit-Boy explained how he has so many hits.

"Man, I stay in the stu, man," he said. "That's just what it boil down to. They just really be questioning, nigga like, "Bro, why you always in the studio?" But I just got a real love for this shit, man. I just always feel like I got another level to reach. I'm around great artists too, so it's like I see how. You know what I mean? I'm around Nas a lot, you know what I mean? It's like, "Damn, I really do got a long way to go." He just did Madison Square Garden for the first time last week. Sold that motherfucker out, performed 20 songs I produced. I'm like... You know what I mean? That was a level up. I done seen my performed in stadiums, arenas, but 20 joints back-to-back-to-back that was different, that just let me know like, "Okay, yeah, this shit's for real."
