Wu-Tang Clan Is Coming To 'Fortnite'

Just days after Snoop Dogg made his debut in the Call Of Duty game franchise, it has been announced that Wu-Tang Clan will have gear and weapons available for purchase in the wildly popular video game, Fortnite.

According to THE VERGE, players will be able to buy Wu-Wear gear in the Fortnite item shop starting April 23 at 8PM ET. There will be two different outfits available as well as Wu accessories such as reactive backpacks and a Wu-Tang hands emote. Music has become a major part of Fortnite from a crossover with Coachella to in-game concerts by Ariane Grande and Travis Scott. Real world celebrities such as tennis star Naomi Osaka and snowboarder Chloe Kim have joined the games massive library of characters. Wu-Wear joins other clothing brands like Balenciaga in the game.

Wu-Tang Clan and Nas Join For NY State Of Mind Tour

The Clan announced earlier this week that they would be joining Nas for the New York State Of Mind Tour which kicks off August 30 in St Louis and hits Atlanta ,Tampa and Dallas before ending at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 4. And the individual members have also been busy of late: Wu-Tang producer RZA released Saturday Afternoon Kung-Fu Theater with DJ Scratch last month; and Method Man is prepping his upcoming Methlab 3: The Rehab.

In further Wu-Tang news, it was announced last month that an Ol' Dirty Bastard biopic is in the works for A&E and June 3 marks the 25th anniversary of the double album Wu-Tang Forever. And the iconic group's debut album, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), was added to the Library of Congress archives on April 13.
