On Friday (7/29), rapper Fatlip released physical copies of his new solo project Torpor, which includes a song called "My Bad" featuring the emcee rhyming with all of the original members of The Pharcyde. The slow-tempo track addresses regrets amongst group members, and speaks of the maturation that the group has experienced over the years.

"You don’t have to tip toe and flip flop and wind up in a shit show/We much too old for that, gots to pack this bag and dip though," spits Slimkid3. The track is produced by Sccit and features Butch Cassidy.

The Pharcyde was split into two factions after member Bootie Brown trademarked the group name, preventing the remaining group members from recording or performing under it. Imani, Fatlip and Slimkid3 have been performing under the name "The Farside" as a result. The Pharcyde released two albums that are widely considered Hip-Hop classics: 1992's Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde and 1995's Labcabincalifornia, the latter containing production from a then lesser known J.Dilla.

Torpor also contains appearances from Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and RBX of Death Row Records fame. Listen to "My Bad" above.
