The Alchemist and Earl Sweatshirt Drop Digital Collectible Album 'VOIR DIRE'

The Alchemist and Earl Sweatshirt's collab album, VOIR DIRE, has dropped. But it comes with a twist — the project is described as a “digital collectable” and is available to stream for free after entering an email address, with each song also available as an NFT (non-fungible token).

The project dropped via Gala music and features 11-tracks. There's just one feature on the album from MIKE on “Sentry,” which is the only song available on other streaming platforms, as HipHopDX reports.

To celebrate the album, Alchemist and Earl are hanging out in London, where they'll perform the project at the Jazz Cafe on Friday. They've previously collaborated on songs including “Uncle Al,” “E. Coli” and “Mtomb" and most recently, they teamed up on “RIP Tracy.”

Alchemist also dropped a project with super producer Hit-Boy as well as his own record, Flying High. In an interview with ROCK THE BELLS last year, The Alchemist talked about his approach to production.

“When you're a student, you develop your style," he said. "You become your own thing. Later on, you become a teacher and then you're teaching. If you get past that teaching stage, you get to a stage where the student becomes a teacher. Now, if you're wise enough, you can learn from your students. That's the final stage."
