Snoop Dogg's foray into the food industry has taken another interesting turn— the rap vet may be opening a restaurant with famed Hell's Kitchen chef Gordon Ramsay.
“I have been speaking with my boy Gordon for a while about opening a restaurant together – but the pandemic slowed things right down,” Snoop said, according to The Daily Record. “Gordon has got a few places in Vegas and Vegas is Snoop’s city - so I kind of figured that we would open a place there - but I know Gordon is from Scotland and people know my love for Scotland and for Glasgow as a city so - why not there?”
Snoop is reportedly hoping the eatery will sell fried chicken as well as traditional Scots dishes like haggis. "It would be food everybody could enjoy - food for the family," he said. “Burgers, mac n cheese, fried chicken - and maybe one or two local dishes like haggis just to keep things authentic.”
Snoop has taken a deep dive into food with his Broadus Foods line. Most recently, he showcased his Mama Snoop Breakfast Foods, which includes syrup, oatmeal, pancake mix, grits, and honey almond granola. Master P serves as CEO of the company, which he calls empowering. “Our mission is to build economic empowerment and generational wealth," he said. "The more we make, the more we give.“
No word on when Snoop and Ramsay's resto might arrive.
