Scarface is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of his classic 2002 album The Fix. Face is performing the album in in its entirety today (Aug. 6) at Rock The Bells Festival in Forest Hills, Queens. The Houston rap icon took a few moments to speak to RTB about what the festival means and why he's excited to be part.

"This is big shit," Face says. "It's a difference between big shit and big shit. It's a big difference. This festival puts Hip-Hop back on that platform where it deserves to be. This is where the Hip-Hop began. New York City is where it began. We have to respect this culture."

Face went on to say that what Rock The Bells is doing is a blueprint for where he'd like to see Hip-Hop go.

"We've got to regain control of our culture," he urges. "From where I'm looking at it right now, we're losing our shit. Ain't nobody really gettin' out there and rocking that shit like they used to."

"I remember when it was tough to get into Hip-Hop," Face adds. "And if you didn't have shit going on, it wasn't no way you was going to get into it. If you wasn't dope, you couldn't get into it. Now if you dope, you can't get in!"
