Remy Ma appeared on a recent episode of The Breakfast Club where she discussed the status of her upcoming solo album. After reminding the show hosts that she appeared on seven or eight songs last year including features with Mary J. Blige, her husband Papoose and Rapsody, she provided an update on the status of her solo project.
"My solo album been done," she told DJ Envy. "What happened was when I first did it, I got pregnant, and we did IVF and everything that we went through, and I had to put everything on hold. It was stressful on my body and my bank account, and we really wanted everything to work, so I put everything music related on hold."
Remy explained that the pandemic happened during her pregnancy and after hosting The Wendy Williams Show and other side projects, music was pushed to the side.
