Rakim has released "Now Is The Time" from his upcoming album God's Network, which drops on 7/26 and is his first in 15 years. "Now Is The Time" is produced by Rakim (as his entire upcoming album is), and features B.G., Hus The Kingpin, and Compton Menace.

Rakim mentioned new upcoming projects, and the desire to release new music in a recent exclusive interview with Rock The Bells. "Right now I'm working on a couple of projects," he revealed. "I'm working on an album and some solo projects on the side. I'm actually taking a lot of time form touring this year to do some studio work. I have a lot I wanna say, and I wanna get back into the studio and express myself."
