Rakim has released a promo video for the New York Yankees opening season on his IG account. Over his classic "Don't Sweat The Technique" track, Ra performs a spoken word tribute to the borough of The Bronx, and the New York Yankees. Ra shouts out single season homerun leader Aaron Judge as well as newcomer Juan Soto who he calls: "A phenom who's patience and power devour opposing pitchers."

In other Rakim news, he will appear with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Ravi Coltrane at Washington DC's Kennedy Center in what is described as: "An exciting collaboration between three brilliant and legendary musicians, a must see event for music and culture lovers."
