Clipse are taking the stage together for the first time in over a decade. Pusha T announced via his Instagram account that he and his brother No Malice are taking the stage for a surprise show. Clipse will be hitting the festival stage at Pharrell's Something In The Water Festival. The duo is slated to perform on Sunday (June 19). The lineup was previously announced and Push made it official.
“ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DISCUSS,” King Push wrote on Instagram. “SITW WEEKEND FINALE, JUNE 19, CLIPSE, AGAIN DON’T HIT MY PHONE.”
Pusha T and No Malice last performed as Clipse shortly after the release of their final album ‘Till The Casket Drops in 2009. Pusha has revealed that he's not a fan of that album; he also talked about Pharrell's impact on his career. Back in March, Pusha shared a story about Pharrell criticizing his original "Hear Me Clearly" performance."
“I was devastated. He then flew me to Miami and proceeded to produce the first half of the best album of the year. Moral of the story…always push your friends to be greater, even when they’re the greatest.”
