Patti LaBelle was a guest on the Tamron Hall Show, where she sang the praises of Cardi B. Patti and Cardi recently collaborated for the Holiday Harmony campaign. The campaign features Cardi's Whip Shots vodka whipped cream and Patti’s Good Life pies.
Patti said Cardi B was admittedly a little “starstruck” when she met the legendary singer and also noted how kind Cardi and sister, Hennessy Carolina (who Patti comically referred to as "Chardonnay") were when they met.
“I’ve always wanted to meet her, and when I met her she said, ‘I’m just so excited to meet you,’” Patti told Tamron. “All of the people that came with me? She talked to the kids on the phone at home, she did everything nice, she’s not a diva. She’s a beautiful spirit... She’s the Baby Patti. Cardi is the Baby Patti.”
