French photographer Sophie Bramly captured many images from her time spent in various Bronx streets and clubs during the early 1980's. These images are featured in her new book Yo! The Early Days of Hip Hop 1982-84. Images from the legendary Roxy nightclub, pictures of turntable maestro Grandmixer D.ST on the subway and images of the notorious Bronx River Center are all included in the 301 page book published bySoul Jazz Books.
